The World Health Organization praised BT's stance, the Financial Times said. The cigarette promotion involves young people who attend night clubs being offered a pack of Marlboro in return for their existing cigarettes, the paper said.
Philip Morris Cos. Inc., Marlboro's manufacturer, said the promotional cigarettes were only given to those who already smoked. |
