Chewing tobacco to cost more

Prices of all Copenhagen and Skoal smokeless tobacco products are going to hike by 11 cents per can, said United States Tobacco Co., a unit of holding company UST Inc.
The maker of smokeless tobacco said it would increase the price of Skoal to $2.27 a can, a five percent jump. Prices of cans of Rooster will also increase 11 cents to $1.67 a can. The price of its value brand, Red Seal, remains unchanged, the company said.
