Andrew J. Schindler was elected chairman, president and CEO of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Holdings Inc. on Friday after leading the company's tobacco subsidiary since 1995.
The holding company board of directors chose Schindler, who joined the RJR organization in 1974 and most recently was president and CEO of Reynolds Tobacco Co., a wholly owned subsidiary.
