Partagas Cigars

Partagas world-famous genuine Habanos cigar from Cuba. It is known that all Havana cigars are distinguished by each cigar being individually wrapped.

Partagas brand is one of the most famous and recognizable cigar names in the tobacco industry with its consistent flavor and amazing body. Deeply satisfying, full, rich taste is achieved due to the limited crop of sun-ripened Honduran wrapper leaves. The wrapper leaf flavor acquires unique characteristics due to the extra aging on the plant.

In 1845 , the Spaniard Don Jaime Partagás Ravelo established his own factory, Real Fábricas de Tabaco Partagás. Don Jaime Partagás Ravelo created the most well-known of all Cuban cigar brands. Done Jaime have tasted different methods of fermenting and aging tobacco, he was the first to hire the lector to read and entertain the cigar rollers as during their work.

The brand was further developed by Legendary cigarmaker Ramón Cifuentes and Partagas's son . These great cigar masters made the Partagas the leading Cuban cigar. In 1961, after Fidel Castro took the full control of the Cuban cigar, Ramon Cifuentes was forced to leave the island. It is only seventeen years later Partagas has a chance to continue his work on the brand.

During its history Partagas brand won gold medals in at least three international expositions between 1867 and 1884. The brand is still produced in the Partagas factory.

Partagas are characterized as rich, earthy and full-flavoured. Powerfully spicy yet wonderfully complex, they deliver an array of flavors almost as diverse as the range itself. In general, they emit very agreeable aromas and age very well.
