Saint Luis Rey Cigars
This cigar brand was introduced in 1940 under the name of Zamora and Guerra. Despite its success, it disappeared and vanished in the oblivion up to the moment of its renaissance in 1940, under the impulse of a British cigar import company. However, it is in 1980 when the brand enters the international market with great strength. Nowadays, its cigars are manufactured in the same factory where the Romeo y Julieta are made. It is located at 852 Belascoain Street. Leaves from Vuelta Abajo, Pinar del Rio and also the Semi Vuelta region are used in the cigars production.
It has been suggested that Saint Luis Rey cigars are so named based on Thorton Wilder's 1927 popular novel, The Bridge of San Luis Rey.
You'll find Saint Luis Rey cigars are renowned for their aroma, slow burning smooth draw and full-bodied flavor; no wonder Saint Luis Rey cigars have become one of the most favorite smokes of cigar connoisseurs worldwide.
